Jizzakh, Uzbekistan – Kovcheg Art, a leading architectural and engineering company in Uzbekistan, has completed the full project documentation for the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute building. The building is named after Abdulla Qadiri, the first Uzbek woman teacher who was also a poet and writer.
The Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, established in 1974, is one of the oldest and most prestigious teacher training institutions in Uzbekistan. The institute has been functioning in its old building for many years, and due to the increase in the number of students, the old building was not capable to accommodate the growing demand for education.
In 2018, the Government of Uzbekistan decided to construct a new building for the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute with the capacity to accommodate more students and to provide necessary facilities to ensure the quality of education. Kovcheg Art was commissioned to design and develop a state-of-the-art building for the institute.
The project aimed to create a contemporary building that reflects the modern standards of teaching and learning. The new building comprises six floors and provides classrooms, lecture halls, a library, computer labs, auditoriums, and administrative offices.
